Camouflage is a set of methods of concealment that allows otherwise visible animals, military vehicles, or other objects to remain unnoticed by blending with their environment or by resembling something else. Source: Wikipedia
For fashion, you can’t hide from camouflage this season! It is one of the trending prints all over the globe. From street style to high fashion, runway shows to billboards, no doubt that this print is making a big noise! Camouflage is indeed the current popular trend for Men's wear. Military camouflage goes far beyond the service these days. It is not just for the people who serve the army but also to the civilians that made this print a fashion statement. And speaking of this print, this is my version of wearing camouflage print. Ready? Let's go and I'll start to blab about it.
Wore this jacket not to hide (as this is the cliche "notion" for this print) but to show some edge in my simple outfit! Wore my hiding-in-edge-camo military jacket over my plain black button down. I paired it with my khaki pants and green velvet boots to match with the color scheme of my jacket.
If you've noticed, I just focused on three colors for this look- green, brown and black since I really wanted to show the design this jacket screams. Don't you just love the prints?
To make this look interesting (aside from the jacket), I added this black DIY bow tie! Even the smallest details can give a big impact to your overall look. Agree?
How to make this pinned bow tie: Just buy safety pins and pin them to your bow tie! That's easy, right? Okay! At least I made sense! LOL
Military jacket from my Uncle l Black buttondown from People are People
Khaki pants from Human l Boots from Clark's
Watch from Reaction by Kenneth Cole l Nato strap from Asprey
Round eye glasses from SM Department Store
To finish this look, I added this round eye glasses to give a nerdy but tough look! Hmm okay, okay, did I pull that off? Tell me your thoughts! LOL
So there you go! If you think that Camouflage print is just for the Military people and just an old stuff drawn out of a World War II barracks, ohhh you're missing out something in your fashion sense!
