Green and Nature

Lately, I've become a fan of nature. Well I'm not saying that I wasn't before its just that, I learned to appreciate its beauty even more. Maybe this is part of growing up? Having a lot of realizations in life make you appreciate everything. Even the least things that you don't when you were young. As for my outfit, I was inspired by the color of our nature- Green and Brown.

On me: Shirt from People are People l Pants from Penshoppe l Buttondown from Aeropostale l Shoes from Itti l Socks from Uniqlo l Bag from Baguio City l Sunglasses Gift

Black and silver sunnies I got from my mum. This would be my new fave pair!

The colorful parrot painting printed in my shirt. What's not to love, yes? Hehe

This native bag made by the locals of Baguio is really beautiful! You can even keep your laptop in it!

And to complete my nature inspired look, I wore my green socks and black combat shoes to make my outfit more interesting!

Skate and Billingham

Skateboarding is in especially this season! You can see a lot of kids carrying their cool and nice skateboards. Summer time is indeed the perfect time for fun activities. Yes, I know that I should be wearing shorts in this outfit but, I'm not really that kind of person who loves to wear shorts. Hehe Even if its sunny, I still wear my regular jeans more often.

On me: Shirt from H&M l Jeans from Penshoppe l Shoes from Boby l Socks from Journey's l Sunglasses from H&M l Bag from Billingham l Watch from Disneyland CA

First time to wear this Sunglasses I bought from H&M in California. Not bad, aye!

Really loving this body bag from Billingham! An instant camera bag, too!

This skate board really belongs to my friend's (Tse) son! I found it at their backyard and decided to carry it to add an impact to my overall look. Not bad, yes?

Finished off my look with my favorite pair of boots together with my socks from Journey's!

SandBox at Alviera

Looking for a perfect getaway this summer? Here's an exciting news to my fellow Cabalens! No need to go outside Pampanga to get an ultimate outdoor experience cause Sandbox at Alviera has it all for you! ATV, giant swing, zip lines, wall climbing, aerial walk and more await you! Last Saturday (April 05), I was invited to the VIP and Media Launch of Sandbox at Alviera in Porac Pampanga. Together with my friend and cousin, we went there in full excitement to try all the attractions. Under the heat of the scorching sun, my companions and I were very eager to try everything we see! We had so much fun and looking forward to go back at Sandbox again!

Ayala Land, Inc., in partnership with Leonio Land, has created a unique summer getaway that redefines outdoor fun in the vast terrain of Porac, Pampanga.  SandBox, located in the new Alviera township development, officially opens starting April 12.

SandBox features an array of exciting attractions that pumps up visitors to get active and enjoy the great outdoors.  Visitors of any age will have memorable experiences from fun activities amplified by the scale of the facilities, and Alviera’s wide green plains.

Among its major attractions is the Giant Swing, the Philippines’ tallest swing at 10-meters high.  The Giant Swing takes up to two adult riders high into the air for an unforgettable and exhilarating swing.

Another high-flying experience comes from the Avatar One Roller Coaster Zipline, the ride that takes one zipping down roller-coaster style 180-meters down.

Then there is the Adventure Tower, 15-meters of wall climbing fun, rappelling and free fall.  It also provides the best views of Alviera, as far out as the open field where hobbyists can gather for field sports and other outdoor pursuits like Frisbee, RC plane and car activities.

The open field will also feature kite-flying and kite-making workshops this summer, as well as a concert featuring Bamboo Mañalac on April 12, and health and wellness programs.

Getting ready to get into the Aerial Walk Attraction!

Can you see that goofy smile?! Hehe

Isabel is ready to try the aerial walk!

 Look who's excited! LOL

The Aerial Walk is a high rope adventure with the added challenge of being in an obstacle course.  SandBox also offers ATV and mini-ATV rides, a themed kiddie playground with picnic areas, mini-golf and camping sites.

The experience at SandBox gives one a taste of what’s to come upon the full development of Alviera.  We envision Alviera to be the regional growth center of Central Luzon complete with a commercial district, business and industrial park, university zones, retail centers, a country club, recreational areas and residential neighbourhoods.” said John Estacio, Alviera General Manager.

 Ready for the zip line!!

Bikers will also be in for a treat as they enjoy Alviera’s 5,000 sqm pump track.  The name originates from the pumping motion used by the riders’ body as they create momentum around the tracks. It serves as a training ground or simple play, and it is open for all types of bikes and skill level making it a suitable recreational activity for cyclists.

Our day at Sandbox was filled with so much fun! We were like kids running in the park the whole day and didn't mind the heat of the sun! Actually, we got "tan lines"! LOL

Alviera is a 1,125-hectare property easily accessible from Porac exit (NLEX-SCTEX), and close to the Clark Airport and Subic Freeport.  In time, the Alviera township will boast of open campuses for top-rated schools, its own commercial center, work spaces, a privately-managed transport system,  hotel, country club and residential developments. Open spaces and recreational attractions will also be featured. Again, thank you Stratos and Ayala for inviting me in this event! If you guys are all excited to try their attractions, wait until April 12, 2014 on their Public opening! I hope to see you guys there and let's party with Bamboo!

The Sandbox is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  For booking guidelines, visit the Alviera website at and on Facebook.

I hope this map could help you get there! :)
